Questo calendario è stato realizzato con materiale tratto in parte dall'omonimo libro: l'illustrazione è di Fabrizio Caldarelli e i testi sono a cura dell'associazione culturale Vita Romana. La sezione del fregio qui riprodotta raffigura uno degli episodi determinanti e più drammatici della guerra contro la Dacia: l’assedio e la cattura della città di Sarmizegetusa, capitale del regno. L'illustrazione è arricchita da numerose note che illustrano le azioni e descrivono i dettagli più interessanti dei personaggi raffigurati. Il calendario misura, aperto, 23,5x96cm.
This calendar is made with material taken partly from the homonymous book: illustration by Fabrizio Caldarelli and texts by Vita Romana cultural association. The section of the frieze here reproduced depicts one of the most crucial and dramatic episodes of the Dacian War: the siege and capture of Sarmizegethusa, capital of the Kingdom of Dacia. The illustration is accompanied by notes illustrating the actions and describing the most interesting particulars of the people portrayed. The calendar measures cm 23,5x96 when opened and comes with a full english translation.
